Norma Instruments Team Completes UltraBalaton Relay Race Around Lake Balaton
The Norma Instruments team proudly participated in the UltraBalaton 2026 relay race, one of the largest endurance running events in Hungary. The race covers 211 kilometers around Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe, and attracts more than 30,000 runners each year.

A 211 km Challenge Around Lake Balaton
The UltraBalaton relay race is a unique long-distance running event where teams work together to complete the full distance within a set time limit. This year, our 13-member team — joined by a teammate from our partner MiLab Diagnostics — started at 4:50 AM and ran continuously through the day and night.
By combining endurance, coordination, and strong teamwork, the team successfully completed the 211 km course within the official time limit.
Teamwork and Endurance in Action
Participating in a relay race in Hungary like UltraBalaton requires more than physical preparation. It demands precise planning, mutual support, and the ability to perform under changing conditions, from early morning starts to late-night running segments.
These qualities closely reflect how we operate at Norma Instruments. Whether in product development or customer support, teamwork and reliability are at the core of what we do in laboratory diagnostics.

Beyond the Finish Line
The UltraBalaton experience goes beyond sport. It strengthens connections, builds trust, and highlights the importance of shared goals, values that are essential both on the racecourse and in business.
We congratulate all participants of UltraBalaton 2026 and are proud of our team for completing this demanding 211 km relay challenge.
